Bloodfever
4 Shocking Stars! I very much enjoyed this more than the first book, it is exactly what my friends had said, that it'll only get better and better! The plot thickens and the characters evolved!
Mac's need for revenge over her sister's death intensifies, her search for the Sinsar Dubh continues.... She also need to stop the Lord Master from opening the walls between Man and Faery.... and save the world against the evil Fae's.
Mac's character has grown a lot! She is smarter, wiser, more confident and more kick-ass.
But who can she trust? There is:
Jericho Barrons, who is still a mystery...
He was obsessed, and obsessed men are dangerous men.
I'd like to think he got jealous and cares more than he shows towards Mac. He doesn't tell Mac anything BUT he saved her life, twice! Plus they shared though short but hot, intense and passionate moment together!
V'lane, prince Seelie, a death-by-sex Fae.... who is tentatively playing on the good side... I find him curiouser and curiouser...
Then there's Rowena, the Grand Mistress of side-seers.... who is cold-hearted and I think mental.
All three has their own secrets and agenda.
New characters are introduced.... Dani, a young warrior and a sidhe-seer... and Christian, though I don't know yet what role he plays in the story.
There is more action, suspense, and mystery... it was shocking and gruesome!
The ending will leave you baffled.... in which heightens the need to read the third book right away! Well done!!!!
